Our House is located below the Lismore Base Hospital in Laurel Avenue but can be a bit tricky to find. It can be accessed via the one-way Shepherd lane or from Laurel Avenue.

The Our House family is incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of two remarkable members of our community at the 2026 Australia Day Awards.Rebekka Battista was honoured as Lismore Citizen of the Year, recognised for her outstanding dedication and service to our community, while Dr Chris Ingall received the Academic Excellence Award in recognition of his exceptional contributions.
The inaugural Casino Charity Golf Day
The inaugural Casino Charity Golf Day was a tremendous success, raising more than $15,000 to support local families through Our Kids and Our House.Proudly presented by the M.J. Smith Group and Casino Engineering & Industry Supplies, the event brought together golfers, sponsors and community supporters for a day of fun with a powerful purpose.
The Regional Accommodation Providers Group head to NSW Parliament House.
The Regional Accommodation Providers Group head to NSW Parliament House. Our House started the Regional Accommodation Providers Group (RAPG) in 2014, bringing together organisations across regional NSW that provide accommodation for people travelling for medical treatment. There are 13 sites in regional NSW part of the RAPG.
Going the Rotarian extra mile at Our House.
Part of the culture at Our House is going the extra mile for our guests – and we rely on the support of our community to help make that possible.One special touch is the Welcome Box placed in each room, filled with thoughtful goodies to help guests feel comfortable and cared for during their stay.
The Rotary Club of Lismore has proudly sponsored these boxes for more than seven years.
A Seventh-day Christmas Gift
At the recent Alstonville Seventh-day Adventist Village Christmas Lunch, Our House received a donation of $2,190 from the residents and Adventist Senior Living.
Ballina RSL Generosity
Dr Chris Ingall and Rebekka Battista had the privilege of attending a recent function that celebrated the Ballina RSL Club Ltd's 2024 Community Grants recipients!It was also a privilege to recognise Bill Coulter, the GM of Ballina RSL, and his commitment to the community, as Bill is retiring at the end of the year.❤

Rotary Club of Ballina on Richmond has been incredibly active in our local community, including leading the charge in bringing all the community clubs in the Ballina Shire to raise funds to help build Our House.
James Frizelles Charitable Foundation
To assist families in Lismore's Special Care Nursery, so that Mum is close to Bub for feeds and visits, James Frizelles Charitable Foundation has come on board to cover the complete cost for families to stay at Our House.
Sanctuary Village
Each year the Sanctuary Village in Lennox host a Christmas Spectacular and this year they also organised an Art Show for Our House. Once again they have donated the proceeds to help those who are undergoing hardship to stay at Our House. To John, to those who lit up their homes, to the great artists among you and to those who went along and enjoyed the event, thank you!
Kyogle Bowls
This year Kyogle hosted a Bowls Day which saw many people gather to play bowls, buy raffle tickets and enjoy a really terrific day at the Kyogle Bowls Club. The day’s proceeds came to Our House. Pictured is Kyogle Bowls Club President and members of the Quota Club of Kyogle who are always supportive of Our House and host a fantastic Friendship Dinner for all to attend.
Wining and Dining for Charity
This year Our House was one of the recipients of funds raised from Ballina’s Food and Wine Fair and what a wonderful event it was for residents of the Northern Rivers. Held over three days, participants enjoyed fabulous wine, food and entertainment by local exhibitors, information sessions, and cooking demonstrations. All of this added up to a great recipe for success and the Food and Wine Fair was named in the top 13 of Food and Wine Festivals around Australia.
Order Up!
The Tuesday and Thursday BBQ dinners at Our House have been amazing with many groups helping to make these evening events happen. When one guest was asked recently about what they loved about Our House, the reply was: ‘The kindness & hospitality of staff and those who come in to provide for the community BBQ dinner - absolutely amazing!!’
Woolworths Wall ‘Token off’ for Our Kids
This year’s Woolworths Wall Token campaign was a great success, raising an amazing $54,772 for Our Kids. The funds will be used to help purchase vital paediatric equipment for Lismore Base Hospital.
